Has anyone tried that game yet?

I was in open beta and the live game and it's pretty neat. There's a few things it has which would be nice in Rappelz UI customisation, multiple bars instead of just 4 and offline pming.

The downside for a paid game, you have to wait 23 years to get on most servers, since many are hitting them due to the newness of the MMO.

Have you tried a private server, I have a guy at work who is playing for free on one. Now I don't know exactly how bugged a pirated server version is, but I assume it's not perfect. This guy has also played WoW, L2, Silkroad Online, and he isn't very excited about Aion; he says the game isn't offering too much, certainly not worth the admission price.

Also a bad thing, at least where I live, is the fact that I can only buy game cards and that means prepaying for at least six months, and not less. I myself have played WoW and L2, also Guild Wars, last two games also published by NCSoft (Aion) and I just looked around on YouTube for gameplay and I am not really impressed, but I might be wrong.

Anyway, the worst thing is paying for 6 months up front... so what if I don't like the game? There is no refund on that... bad idea, bad management. :(

I played all closed and open betas of Aion and IMHO it owns Rappelz 10:1 So many different things you can do there and the Abyiss feature is great!!! PvPvE The crafting is also a very nice feature so you can make your own gear and pots. Oh yeah and no worries about stamina. That will never be an issue in Aion unlike Rappelz. Rappelz has had an issue with the dam stamina regen since I started playing back in E2. Anyhow I will be playing Aion alot more then Rappelz simply cause of the fact that once you R5 in Rapplez, there is nothing more do to cept grind grind grind. Boring as hell..... Rappelz will end up dying very soon if the Devs do not something quick for R5+ players.

Yeah, I absolutely loved the game when playing some of the Closed Beta events.
But I don't want to pay a monthly fee for a game, because I could only get in there for 1 - 3 hours per weekend.
So, I'm sticking with cRappelz - or rather taking a break from MMOs at all.

I might try to download Aion client this weekend and try one of the private servers put there, but I will surely not go official; too costly and as Kristian says, I can't spend too much time online, except for some hours in weekends.

Most of my guildies have already gone to Aion. All are R6 and they love the game. I do not have as much time as before to play any MMO atm but I do find time. Also my son is an avid player on Yeti so when I do get Aion he will be playing Rappelz!!! Heck y'all probably know him. Zancou R5 CM. He's 13 and can hang with the best of em on the Horizen bridge!!! I dont mind paying the 13 bux/month to play Aion so I am looking forward to it!!!

I'm playing Aion at the moment. Have a lvl 35 Cleric on a free server but seriously considering buying a subscription. Loooove the game.

Woot Aion has its own section :) How do you mean long waits to get into the server? Anyhow my main is now Mysticsin if you want to try. X2 Xp event this weekend so I will most likely be on grinding in the Abyss or KT. Still need to get my key for FT. Still have tons of quests to do as well so either way Ill be on doing one thing or another!!!!
