Part 2 of Epic 6, the Solus Aurum goes will make it's NA debut when the servers go back live on Wednesday, 14 Oct. A brand new chapter in the Rappelz world!

All right, fears are somewhat supported at this time by the fact that they ran into issues already... there go my timed pets I was intending to use for a while...

Probably should've made the maintenance 12 hours... This happened last time. When updating server with a bunch of new updates, stuff will usually creep up.
Game's laggy, and getting all those essences is already too much.... what the heck were they thinking?!

Any new pets tamed yet? I am just wondering because I have not been logged into Rappelz in quite some time. Having way too much fun on Aion :) Perhaps I will log on this weekend for a brief moment :P
Yeah, I saw octopus tamed on my server and also heard of naga tamed on another, but something is... missing in this game now, and I don't know exactly what.

From what my son says there are no more return scroll drops..... Interestingly enough I suppose. Rappelz needs to make a perma return skill in everyones skill tree like in all the other MMO's I play. Did they fix the stamina issue with E6 part2? I would bet No....
Am not sure if they fixed stamina issue, but I can tell you for sure that those return scrolls still drop but not in the ridiculous amounts as before; now we have those essences of power dropping in 95% of the kills. People just blame it on the 25% drop rate increase, but we'll see after the event is over...

95% of kills? Dam that is crazy. I would tend to agree that it may be due to the event but one never knows. Not until the event is over. Are the pet cards dropping more often now? I mean hawks, salas, kentas, that sort of thing... I have been playing since the end of E3 and never once have i gotten a hawk card to drop. Altho I do not play as mich now it would be encouraging however, if the pet card drops increased any...
I can only tell for myself, since the release of the new epic I only got an empty wolf in 4 days, and I have played for 2 hours a day. Mobs around level 60-65, for me it is the same drop rate as before. So I don't know...
Since it went live my hubby (ign Splifftastic) has had 4 e-octos, 2 e-skellys, 2 e-bps, 1 e-siren and 1 e-rp. I've had a tonne of skill cards and an e-rp. I have approx 10,000 essence of powers. Been farming around PP.
Dang... Need to get my level up a bit then, am farming at the tortoises, near the oasis lake in Ceriu Desert and I am getting absolutely nothing, I only got one e-bp and about 2 skill cards. Hmm... also searching for a nice guild on Tanda, do you know any?
Are you farming mobs that are below you in level? I've always found I get better drops from white, yellow and orange mobs. The hawks and scallions around PP are around 69+
I'm guildless at the moment, we just disbanded our own a few weeks ago cause our members were never online (with the exception of 1 or 2).
I am level 62 and the mobs I am farming are ranging from 65 to 70... so I should get something. I mean I do get a little nasty drop, like armor or a defense or strike cube but after 3-4 hours of continuous gameplay, which seems a little bit off, I don't have so many hours to play daily. And I still have to remember when I got my last skill cube (!).
And completely off-topic now, how about starting a new guild? Just let me know if the idea seems viable to you, guys.
What times of the day do you play? I normally find I get better drops between 6-10am (GMT).

I play about the same times as you do (I am in Europe as well)... I mean not necessarily those exact hours, as I am at work, but on weekends I tried to play at different hours, result was almost the same. I might have to change the area I am farming cause it gets a bit irritating at times.
And what's even funnier, before the release of the last epic, these were the areas where I farmed on my sin which is now level 69 but put on hold indefinitely, and I was getting way more drops, even empty cards were more abundant. So I have no idea where is that 20% increase rate, cause I don't see it...
I like playing at those times cause the server is practically empty, it's made easier with Spliff running a business from home.
I do find it very funny, before it's release I very rarely got anything to drop.
Another farming place to consider would be SE of Red Farm, the pinlits die very quickly lol
True, I should try in there too. Actually there are some pinlits in here as well, but are a bit too low for my level now, and to tell the truth, ranged attack is so cool, even farming mobs 5-6 levels above me, they can only touch me once or twice if I decide not to use my hunter's skills, else they die on the way running towards me :)
PS I will put my looking for guild on hold for now lol
I just like to beat the crap out of things, it helps me to destress plus I've never been very good with ranged skills lol
I felt the same as you, playing an assassin which is melee; but one day I started reading a thread about shadow hunters and archers, which one is better and it caught my eye, as I remembered my hunter from World of Warcraft. So, inclined as I am to the "dark side" (oh they DO have cookies, ya know? :)) I started a shadow hunter, and so my assassin lays almost forgotten at the logging screen lol
I tried WoW's free 10 day trial once, I couldn't understand what all the fuss and addiction was about. I have a friend, who has lost his life to WoW, dropped out of Harvard Law etc. Haven't heard from him for over 2 years, but I continue to email him monthly just to let him know he isn't forgotten.
I have a breeder and I was trying to go for caster's build but she's very squishy. Perhaps she'll be stronger after OB?
As I have noticed from my dark magician (again, Asura, and they have high evasion) he isn't very squishy although he's a caster class; I have no idea of the breeder, but someone was saying that magicians are among the best solo farmers, but it didn't seem that way to me, as he's going through his mana pool like a knife through butter. Maybe better at higher levels, that is something I need to yet discover.
But I think that if a class is squishy to begin to with, it will stay within certain limits of becoming way better than before; most likely the breeder will get better with casting, mana reserve, but it'll remain pretty squishy, maybe not to the extent it used to be before OB'ing.
And WoW... well, I played it for two years, but on private servers, because I don't play a monthly fee when I am not able to play daily, that's money ill-spent in my opinion.
No I wouldn't pay a monthly fee either, my alternate game when I'm sick of Rappelz is Guild Wars.
I'll just try different builds before the equip/stones etc become too expensive :)
I played GW for a while too, I still have it installed, but am not playing anymore... something didn't "click" for me with that game.
Indeed, equips and stones have the bad habit of becoming expensive in this game... or maybe it's people's greeed? Maybe a bit of both. I got rare stones for my hunter's build, for level 60, and not very expensive yet, but when I am looking in AH I shudder, cause I know what's coming next. And to think I am saving money for a harpy... long way to go there. But equips and stones do come first, my blue pixie is perfect for the hunter for now.
I've been quite lucky during the events they've had this year, I've managed to get quite a few pets through trading event drops. All I need to complete my tier 2 tamed pets are a wolf and an octo. It's just one of those "gotta catch em all" goals lol
I also managed to get my 2h mace to a +9, it did however involve buying 1 e-rep lol
My pets are a blue pixie, a red one, a wolf, a skeleton, and of course a pantera and a tortus. I am using the bp with my hunter, the skelly with the sin, red pixie with the dark magician, so a pet for each class I intend to play. Only the wolf is still a somewhat a low level, around 30ish, cause there is no character that really needs it, except maybe for the sin, considering the evasion unity on wolf, but I prefer skelly for a fast kill.
Although I do really want a harpy which would be good for both hunter and sin, but dang, those prices are so so so high...
I am not lucky with enchanting so I prefer to buy weapons already enchanted, my actual crossbow is a +7.. the rest of the armor is +5, on regular cubes, just some luck involved.
